Hi, I'm Matt.

Like every one that's stumbled across this, I am just a human being trying to 'figure it out' and do something meaningful with my life. Chances are you've never heard of me... and that's the way I like it. I've never been one that's needed or wanted the limelight. At school I was the drummer in the band - the guy in the background that gave a steady and consistent beat for others to follow. That's the way I like to lead.

My life changed forever when I was 19, after two surgeons removed a 17cm tumour from my spine and chest. Since then I’ve stopped following the crowd and wandering aimlessly, and decided to lead my life… my way. I've travelled the world. Spent time hanging around and studying remarkable people. I've toured Australia with my rock band. I was the CEO of a non-for-profit ‘yLead’, and delivered innovative personal development experiences to hundreds of thousands throughout Australia and around the world. I've climbed Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania 13 times and led hundreds to the summit. I've led groups across the Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea. I've presented at national and multinational conferences, rubbing shoulders with some of the most inspiring leaders on the planet. I am currently the Head of Leadership, Development and Culture (ANZ) for Domino’s Pizza Enterprises.

I believe in people. I love to engage, inspire and empower them to reach their full potential. I create things and facilitate experiences that shape the way people think, and influence the way they behave with the belief they will channel what they discover to positively impact their world. I am a creative... a problem solver... a story teller... and a leader. I take pride in striving for excellence in all my endeavours.

Ultimately - I want people to live a life that fulfils them, and that leaves their world in a better place than they found it. And right now... my vehicle for that is the world’s best bonding food - pizza.
